Mark Knight is arguably most recognised for his role in establishing and expanding Toolroom into the truly global record company that it is today. Since its inception in 2003, Toolroom has ventured into event organization, radio broadcasting, and musical instruction; endeavours that have resulted in the introduction of Toolroom Radio a weekly radio series amassing over 16 million listeners every week and the ground breaking Toolroom Academy, the educational division of the label company which delivers music education programs, a school for aspiring DJs, live events, sample packs, and mastering services.

Toolroom has been an integral independent in the electronic scene and is home to some of the world’s most talented artists in House and Techno.
